VG10 Lifetime Warranty

Who and what is covered

This warranty applies to VG10 shears sold by Blacksmith Blades or an authorized seller. It covers the original purchaser for as long as they own the shears, provided they can show proof of purchase. It covers defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal use of the shears.

What is not covered

Routine edge dulling, sharpening, ordinary wear, and cosmetic changes are not defects covered by this warranty. Damage caused by drops, improper use, inadequate maintenance, corrosion, unauthorized alterations, or service that damages the shears is also excluded. This warranty does not promise that an edge will stay sharp for the lifetime of the shears.

How to make a claim

1. Contact Blacksmith Blades with your order number or proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and clear photos if available.
2. Wait for shipping instructions before sending the shears.
3. After inspection, Blacksmith Blades will repair the covered defect or replace the shears with the same or a comparable model, at its discretion, without charging for the repair or replacement.

The customer pays to ship the shears to Blacksmith Blades. For an approved claim within the United States, Blacksmith Blades pays return shipping. For an unapproved claim or shipping outside the United States, support will explain any available service and shipping costs before proceeding.

Other rights and earlier purchases

This written warranty does not limit rights you may have under applicable law. If you purchased VG10 shears before these terms were posted and received a different written warranty promise, contact us with that documentation so we can honor the applicable promise.
